2010 Special Dayton Briefing

Clark Schaefer Hackett is collaborating with key organizations in the Not-for-Profit community to present the Giving USA 2010 Briefing. The Giving Institute, in conjunction with the Center on Philanthropy at Indiana University, produces an annual report on giving trends that is used by many not-for-profit organizations as a development tool.

Presenting results of the Annual Report on Philanthropy for the year 2009 will be Melissa S. Brown, managing editor of Giving USA. Ms. Brown will address national data and trends in charitable giving by individuals, foundations and corporations. Ms. Brown will be joined by a panel of local not-for-profit executives.

Ms. Brown will address national data and trends in charitable giving by individuals, foundations, and corporations. She has appeared in The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, The Chronicle of Philanthropy, and on CNN, FOX News, and National Public Radio's All Things Considered

Joining her to add a local perspective will be a panel of area not-for-profit executives to address how their respective sectors fared in 2009 and what they are witnessing in 2010.
